Boseong Green Tea Fields

We met the cutest Korean couple on this trip!
If you’re up for a trek, consider the green tea fields at Daehan Dawon Tea Plantation in Boseong.
Who I travelled with.
My friends from Goseong! We’re all ESL teachers – two from South Africa, and the other from Canada.
How to get there.
- FROM GOSEONG: Catching the bus to Boseong from Goseong was quite inconvenient as we had to transfer 3 times – in Jinju, Suncheon, and finally a local bus from Boseong to Daehan Dawon. If you’re unsure about your route to the green tea fields in Daehan Dawon, check out my post Getting around Korea.
- FROM SEOUL: You can catch an intercity bus from Seoul Express Bus Terminal to Boseong. If the next bus is in a while, you can also get to Boseong by first catching an intercity bus from Seoul Express Bus Terminal to Gwangju, then catching an intercity bus from Gwangju U-Square Bus Terminal to Boseong. In both cases, you will need to take a local bus from Boseong bus terminal to Daehan Dawon.
Try the Jajangmyeon (Chinese noodle with thick sauce in the photo above) at the restaurant on the premises and also the green tea ice cream at the cafe!
